Medical doctors (M.D.s) diagnose patient conditions using examinations and test. Based on their finding, they prescribe injuries. General practitioners and pediatrician  have a wide range of medical knowledge and they are often the first types of doctors who patients visit.

Education:

After they have completed four years of undergraduate studied in chemistry and biology and prospective medical doctors then attend medical school for two years.

Acupuncture

Duties and Responsibilities:

An acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine. It aims for acupuncture points along the skin by using thin needles, laser light, or application of heat. Acupuncture corrects the flow of qi or chi channels known as meridians.

Salary: $37,642 to $161,034

Education:

A master’s degree program begins the core educational training for an acupuncturists. Most master’s-level acupuncture progam require 3-4 years to study.

A acupressure applies pressure as a treatment to parts in the body to clear the blockages in the meridians of the body. The pressure applied is either by the hand elbow or other devices.

Salary :

Acupressure is part of the large field of massage therapy. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics 2014-15 Occupational Outlook Handbook, the median annual salary for massage therapists is $35.970.

Education: 

Certificate and associate's degree programs provide classroom instruction, as well as hands-on workshops where students apply their acupressure knowledge. Two of the leading, nationally accredited agencies for training in acupressure include the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA) and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental     Medicine (NCCAOM)..

                            Ophthalmologist    Duties and Responsibilities

Ophthalmologist are physicians who specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. The treat vison problem and write prescription for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglass lenses. When necessary, they perform eye surgery. Most ophthalmologist are in practice, however some are employed by hospitals or clinics, and other perform research.

Average salary: $90,000-$150,000

Education Requirement:

 Only physicians may study to become ophthalmologist. After completing medical school and an internship, an ophthalmologist must then complete a three five year residency in an approved ophthalmologist program. After completing their residency program they must pass an examination to be certified.
