Cardiologist is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of
the heart be it humans or animals. The field includes medical diagnosis and
treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular
heart disease and electrocardiography.
Salary: $461,000-$512,000
Education:
First, an aspiring cardiologist must have a bachelor’s degree
in order to get into medical school. The most logical pre-med bachelor degrees
include courses in chemistry, mathematics, engineering or psychology.
