Auricular therapy is a healing practice dating back the third
century wherein the practitioner uses needles at acupuncture points on the
outer ear that correspond to specific parts of the human body. This technique
is a particularly effective treatment for many conditions, including
addictions, mood disorders, obesity, pain, and
muscle-skeletal and central nervous
system disorders.
Salary: $30,000-$138,00
Education:
While it can take 3-4 years for an aspiring acupuncturist to
learn a wide variety of applications, an acupuncture technician is trained for
100 hours or less in just auricular acupuncture. The range of work for an acupuncture
technician is limited treating addiction , trauma and general pain.
Reflection: I would not won’t to be one because it is hard work and u
have to be careful were u put the needle.
